| Alain Fanet Alain Fanet is TAGSYS’ CEO. He is a well-recognized veteran of several fast-growth international high-tech companies. He provides TAGSYS with a unique blend of entrepreneurial and global business management experience. Alain is the co-founder and CEO of Arteris, a global semi-conductor system-on-chip design firm, and a co-founder, President and COO of T.sqware, Inc., a high-performance network processing firm. He has also served as VP and General Manager with Globespan Virata and more recently as the President of the European Technology Tour Association, an industry body that helps emerging technology companies expand internationally. |
| Franck Tuil Franck Tuil is a Portfolio Manager for The Elliott Group, an $8 billion hedge fund investing globally in equity and debt securities. Franck focuses on listed equities, distressed debt and Private Equity investments across Europe, with an emphasis on France and Germany. Prior to joining the Elliott Group, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions in the Telecom sector. Franck is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and holds a CFA charter. |
| Bernard E. Vogel Bernard Vogel is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Endeavour, a pan-European venture capital fund based in Geneva, Switzerland. He is responsible for investments in software, wireless and electronics companies, and holds a number of board positions in portfolio companies. Prior to Endeavour, Bernard was with McKinsey & Co., where he gained strong experience in corporate strategy and operational improvements, and led restructuring projects. He has worked in a number of industries throughout Europe including banking, logistics, biotech, and electronics. Bernard holds an MBA from INSEAD (France), a MEng in Industrial Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and an MSc from Brunel University in London. |
| David Ong David Ong is Investment Director at Add Partners. He joined the investment team at Add Partners in 2003 after 17 years in technology and venture capital. Add Partners is a pan-European venture capital fund based in London, UK. Before Add Partners, David was an investment director at Vertex Management, a global venture capital firm based in Singapore. He was part of the Vertex European team, focused on technology investments. Prior to that, David spent 13 years in the semiconductor industry, working as a chip designer and then heading product development and product marketing in Silicon Valley and Singapore. His past successes include: Microcosm (acquired by Conexant), Altamedius (acquired by Qpass), Xiam Technologies (acquired by Qualcomm) and SmartBridges. David’s current investments include: SequansCommunications, TAGSYS RFID and Phyworks. David is named as a co-inventor in eight US patents. He is Malaysian and holds a BSEE degree from the National University of Singapore. |
| Paul Murray Paul Murray is a co-founder and partner of DFJ Esprit and has been in European venture capital since 1995. Before DFJ Esprit, he was a director of 3i’s technology business, based in the United Kingdom. His past successes include: Bookham Technology (NASDAQ: BKHM), Oxford Glycosciences (acquired by Celltech plc), Microcosm (acquired by Conexant) and Neos Networks (acquired by Scottish & Southern). Paul’s current investments include: Imagine Communications, TAGSYS RFID, PacketExchange and The Listening Company. He also led the sale of Blackspider to SurfControl in July 2006. Paul is a graduate of St. Anne’s College, OxfordUniversity with a degree in Mathematics. |
| Shawn Luetchens Shawn Luetchens has worked with emerging technology, internet, and clean tech companies for more than 15 years. He co-founded Saffron Hill Ventures with two partners in 2000 and has played a key role in building the firm for the past decade.
Prior to co-founding Saffron Hill, Shawn worked as an investment principal for Tribune Ventures where he invested in seed stage through pre-IPO round financings for digital media, infrastructure, and commerce companies. Shawn served on the Board of four Tribune portfolio companies and established Tribune's first seed stage financing. Shawn earned an MBA from Northwestern University's J L Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS in Physical Sciences from the University of Nebraska. |

| Armando Geday Armando Geday has served as a director of ALP Capital since July 2000. From April 1997 until February 2004, he served as President, CEO and a Director of GlobespanVirata, Inc., a digital subscriber line chipset design company. After GlobespanVirata was acquired by Conexant Systems, Inc. in 2004, Armando served as CEO of Conexant from February 2004 until November 2004. Prior to joining GlobespanVirata, Armando served as Vice President and General Manager of the multimedia communications division of Rockwell Semiconductor Systems. Prior to joining Rockwell, he held several other marketing positions at Harris Semiconductor. Armando obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. |
| Michael Ohanian Michael Ohanian has more than 20 years’ experience in barcode data collection, RFID, wireless, mobile computing, supply chain logistics, and automation. From 1995 to 2000, he was President of Intermec Technologies, where he acquired IBM’s RFID intellectual property and design/development team, as well as three companies during his tenure. He was also Senior Vice President of Unova, Intermec’s parent company. Member of the Board of Directors of AIM Global from 1997 to 1999, Michael is today an active member of AIDC 100 and a recognized authority in RFID technology. He consults for several universities planning RFID courses of study and has written numerous technical papers and patents related to electronic products/systems. Michael is a guest lecturer at MIT, University of Wisconsin and University of Houston. Michael has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Merrimack College, and currently serves on their Board of Trustees. |
