| Alain Fanet - Chief Executive Officer Mr. Fanet is a well-recognized veteran of several fast-growth international high-tech companies. He provides TAGSYS with a unique blend of entrepreneurial and global business management experience. Mr. Fanet is the co-founder and CEO of Arteris, a global semi-conductor system-on-chip design firm, and a co-founder, President and COO of T.sqware, Inc., a high-performance network processing firm. He has also served as VP and General Manager with Globespan Virata and more recently as the President of the European Technology Tour Association, an industry body that helps emerging technology companies expand internationally. |
| Alastair McArthur - Chief Technology Officer A co-founder of TAGSYS, Mr. McArthur is a pioneer of the RFID industry. A keenly sought-after speaker at conferences and seminars, he is a highly regarded authority on HF and UHF RFID technologies. Mr. McArthur is a knowledgeable and key contributor to standardization within the RFID industry. As a board member of Auto ID Center Technology Vendors Board, he strongly influenced the development of the first EPC HF tags and readers. Responsible for the technology leadership of TAGSYS, he has driven many of the world’s first initiatives of the Company and has built strategic partnerships with leading industry and software players. Prior to TAGSYS, Mr. McArthur was CEO of ISD, an Australian entrepreneurial RFID design company, which created the first ever RFID enabled library automation solution. |
| Christophe Loussert - Vice President, RFID Integration A co-founder of TAGSYS, Mr. Loussert has over 10 years of experience in the development, integration and mechanical engineering of complex RFID systems. Mr. Loussert drives the engineering and development of advanced RFID systems for select clients. His breakthrough innovations include TAGSYS' tunnel designs which can rapidly identify several hundreds of items, either at rest or in motion. Prior to working at TAGSYS, Mr. Loussert was a Senior Engineer of submarine robots for the Singapore Navy, where he designed complex high tech robotic systems based on fiber optics. Mr. Loussert holds a degree in "Advanced R&D Numerical Simulation in Hydrodynamics". He graduated from French engineering school ESIM, and the Imperial College of Sciences and Technology in London |
| Elmar Gorich- Vice President, Sales & Marketing Mr. Gorich joined the ADC industry in 1992. He served as General Manager INTERMEC Technologies in Germany and as Member of the Board Intermec Switzerland and General Manager Central Europe, responsible for the development of the eastern business. After INTERMEC acquired UBI and Norand he led the merger for his region. Prior to the ADC industry, Mr. Gorich worked in the consumer industry (ITT) and for IT-companies like EXXON Office Systems, and WANG Computers. He headed System-Integrators for THIEL Logistics S.A. in the logistics-market (Seven International S.A. and Seven GmbH, Germany) where he developed business in the CRM, ERP and Supply Chain environment with multinational teams. Mr. Gorich has a 20 year extensive experience in Sales & Marketing as well as in the Consulting Business where he worked with Deutsche Telekom AG, T-Systems, SAGE Software as well as many mid range companies in various markets. Mr. Gorich holds a Master Degree from University of Oradea (Rom,) in East-West Marketing and Psychology, a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Newport University, Utrecht/Holland and a VWA diploma in Economy and Marketing of VWA – Institute, Dortmund (Germany). |
| Richard Bailly- Vice President, Operations & Engineering Richard Bailly oversees Operations & Engineering tasks for TAGSYS including product and software development as well as supply chain management, from purchasing to customer satisfaction. Prior to TAGSYS, Mr. Bailly applied his leadership skills at Eurocopter (EADS Group) where he managed 40 buyers in France and Germany and lead the re-engineering R&D subcontracting strategy through change management. Earlier, Mr. Bailly spent 10 years in the smart card industry, including 3 years in the USA, holding several key management positions within Gemplus (now Gemalto) in the purchasing area (value engineering, purchasing intelligence, outsourcing) and developing strategic alliances with key partners. Mr. Bailly is a graduate of Industrial Purchasing Management Institute in Bordeaux and holds a Master’s degree in Economical Sciences. |
| Didier Elbaz- Vice President, Quality Didier Elbaz oversees all aspects of TAGSYS’ regulatory and quality assurance programs. In addition to his in-depth knowledge of quality system development and compliance, project management and process optimization within the smart technologies industry, he has experience in securing “win-win” strategies with suppliers and customers to improve product quality, cost and performance.
Mr Elbaz has worked over 15 years in the electronics packaging industry and holds several patents in this area.
Earlier, he lead several management positions within Gemplus (now Gemalto) where he contributed to the internationalisation of the production process by helping launch several manufacturing sites throughout the world. |
| Sandrine Viala - HR Director Mrs. Viala has over 15 years experience in the human resources field and has managed recruitment, compensation policy, corporate restructuring plans, management consultancy, and payroll information systems for various companies, including Gemplus. She holds a DESS diploma in HR Management from the Institute of Administration of Aix-en-Provence and a Masters Degree in Economy and Social Law. |
