Monday 19 October 2009, TAGSYS AND CEGID PARTNER TO OFFER A COMPREHENSIVE RFID SOLUTION FOR THE FASHION AND SPECIALTY RETAIL MARKET

October 2nd, 2009 – TAGSYS, the leading provider of item-level RFID infrastructure, and Cegid, France’s number one management software provider, today announced they have signed a partnership agreement to provide turnkey RFID solutions for the fashion and specialty retail industry. The main objective of the partnership is to provide a fully integrated end-to-end solution, based on complementary best of breed technologies from both companies. This new partnership will enable fashion and specialty retail companies to considerably reduce integration costs and implementation time when deploying RFID.

After 3 years of real world customer implementations, TAGSYS has been able to refine its comprehensive RFID infrastructure for the fashion and retail market (application stations, readers, tags, middleware and services) and introduce the RFID industry’s first “Reliability Guarantee” for fashion and apparel.
